About Me

I am a proud wife and mother to 3 children-Caleb (16), Arlo (9) and Aida (7).  We live on a small farm in central Wisconsin called Vespertine Gardens.

I began my journey as a doula in 2001 after the birth of my eldest son. During my pregnancy, I searched far and wide for a doula and could not find one so naturally, I decided that I would become a doula myself. I organized a training workshop through ALACE in Wisconsin Rapids to ensure other women in my area could also become doulas. Since then, I am now proud to be certified through DONA! In 2013 I co-founded an amazing group the Central Wisconsin Doula Network I wear many hats and additionally work with In The Beginning Midwives as an assistant, and am a RN at UW Cancer Center-Riverview. I am also  studying midwifery and women's health at Frontier Nursing University-the birthplace of .
I have personally experienced giving birth in the hospital with numerous interventions and also at home without. I am excited to include massage therapy (did I mention that I am also a licensed massage therapist?), photography and placenta encapsulation as well as doula services. I have been blessed to have witnessed normal, natural births as well as medically complicated, cesareans, multiples, adoption and loss. It is an amazing step forward for you to explore all these wonderful options on your own journey!
